FLU CLINICS NOW OPEN! The 2011 Winter Flu Vaccination Campaign for our registered patients begins at the end of September and we have scheduled clinics for Saturday 24 September and Tuesday 27 September. If you are over 65 please phone the Reception Desk on 01295 22 55 33 to make your appointment early so that you have the maximum benefit and protection from winter flu.

You can also have your pneumonoccocal vaccination at the same time if you have not already had one. One pneumonoccocal vaccination is sufficient for lifelong cover for most people.

If you are under 65 and have a long-term condition such as diabetes, heart disease, or COPD you will be invited to have the vaccination with the Practice Nurse on a separate occasion; or if you are visiting the surgery for another reason, we can give you the flu vaccination at the same time.

Remember – prevention is better than cure!
